The ACPPS-UM6P Research Center at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University is offering a fully funded postdoctoral position in contemporary philosophy of science. This opportunity is designed for researchers interested in the epistemology and philosophy of contemporary physics, mathematics, logic, artificial intelligence, and ethics. The position is based at the university's modern campus in Ben Guerir, Morocco, which provides a vibrant academic environment and excellent facilities for research and living.

Supervision will be provided by Professor Ali Benmakhlouf, an expert in the philosophy of ethics and logic, and Professor Abdelouahab Rgoud, a specialist in the philosophy and epistemology of mathematics and the physical sciences. The postdoctoral researcher will join a dynamic group of over ten researchers working on themes related to Arabic classical philosophy and philosophy of sciences.

The appointment is for one year, renewable, from October 2025 to October 2026. The research project proposed by the candidate may focus on areas such as the philosophy/epistemology of contemporary physics, mathematics, logic, philosophy of artificial intelligence, or ethics. The program includes teaching assistant duties, which offer valuable experience for building an academic CV. Advanced researchers may receive additional support for further teaching or consulting work through the ACPPS Center.

Funding is fully provided, with a monthly salary of approximately 20,000 dirhams (about 2,000 euros). The campus offers public facilities and accommodation for doctoral students. Applicants must hold a PhD degree and should demonstrate research ability, publication in international journals, and ideally professional experience related to collective intelligence themes.
