Required background: PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Physiology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; significant postdoctoral or equivalent senior research experience; leadership experience; strong publication record; extensive mammalian cell culture expertise; and excellent communication and writing skills.

Preferred skills: human iPSC culture, cardiomyocyte differentiation, CRISPR/Cas or related genome editing, drug screening assays, rodent echocardiography, engineered cardiac tissues, calcium imaging, microtissue platforms, cardiotoxicity models, AAV design, single-cell transcriptomics, and computational analysis in R or Python.

Funding: This is a paid research scientist role with a salary range of $65,018–$108,857 per year depending on experience.
