About this position
National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ), National Institutes of Natural Sciences, is recruiting a salaried Special Research Fellow / Project Researcher at the Astronomical Data Center in Tokyo, Japan.
The position focuses on astronomical archive systems and databases, including the operation and development of archive services such as SMOKA and MASTARS, quality evaluation and calibration of archived observation data, and support for the next-generation optical/infrared data archive centered on Subaru Telescope data.
