About this position
The University of Missouri Libraries are hiring a Digital Scholarship and Data Management Librarian at the University of Missouri in the United States. This is a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty librarian role focused on supporting faculty and students with digital scholarship, data management, data stewardship, research data lifecycle, data visualization, text analysis, and computational research.
The librarian will design and deliver services for research analysis, access, and preservation; consult on data management plans and repository selection; run workshops on data literacy and digital scholarship methods; and collaborate with campus partners including IT, the Office of Research, and other support units. The role also supports open scholarship initiatives, Software and Data Carpentries activities, and broader library/university committees.
Eligibility: A master’s degree from an ALA-accredited program (or equivalent accredited program recognized by ALA) is required by the start date.
