Doctoral Researcher in Economics – Economic Analysis of Migration University of Luxembourg in Luxembourg

The University of Luxembourg invites applications for a Doctoral Researcher in Economics, focusing on the economic analysis of migration. The position is based within the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (FDEF), a dynamic academic hub with strong ties to European institutions, Luxembourg's financial centre, and a vibrant business community. The doctoral researcher will work under the supervision of Professor Michel Beine, preparing a doctoral thesis on the determinants and consequences of human mobility. Candidates are encouraged to propose their own topics within the overarching theme. The role includes contributing to teaching (1–3 hours per week) and participating in a large research group with PhDs and postdoctoral researchers working on globalization and migration economics.

The contract is for 36 months, extendable to 48 months if required, with a yearly gross salary of EUR 43,445.
