The University of Luxembourg invites applications for a doctoral researcher position in EU and Comparative Labour Law. This opportunity is based within the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (FDEF), a dynamic academic hub with a distinctly multilingual and interdisciplinary character. The doctoral researcher will prepare a thesis in EU and Comparative Labour Law, encompassing national, European, or international perspectives. Candidates are encouraged to propose their own research topics within these fields, and the thesis may be written in French or English. The position offers the possibility of a cotutelle agreement with another university, broadening the research experience. The successful candidate will also contribute to teaching activities and join a large research group comprising PhD and postdoctoral researchers working on related topics.

Supervision will be provided by Professor Luca Ratti, an expert in labour law. Applicants must hold a Master's Degree in Law or equivalent with excellent results. Specialization in labour and employment law from a European and/or comparative perspective is considered an asset. Candidates should be willing to develop teaching abilities and demonstrate teamwork skills. Language proficiency at B2 level in the thesis language is required, with accepted certificates as specified by the university.

The position is a fixed-term contract for 36 months, full-time (40 hours per week), located at the Weicker Building. The yearly gross salary for doctoral researchers is EUR 43445.
