About this position

Eligibility and requirements: Applicants must satisfy Swedish doctoral admission requirements, including a second-cycle degree (for example a master's degree), at least 240 higher education credits with at least 60 second-cycle credits, or equivalent knowledge. A strong mathematical background in information theory, linear algebra, and probability theory is required. English proficiency equivalent to English B/6 is mandatory. Prior experience in quantum information theory is considered a plus.

Employment and funding: The position is a full-time temporary doctoral appointment at KTH. Salary is paid according to KTH’s doctoral student salary agreement. The initial employment period is up to one year and may be renewed, subject to the rules described in the advertisement.
