Fully funded MSc and PhD positions are available at the Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity (CIC), University of New Brunswick (UNB), in Canada.

The research team is recruiting students to work on AI-driven cybersecurity topics, including advanced agentic AI techniques for behavioural threat detection in next-generation cyber defence and behavioral graph representation with vectorized knowledge integration for multi-hop stealthy threat profiling.

Research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, NLP, IoT and Network Security, Graph Learning, LLMs, and Cybersecurity. The opportunity is linked to a research chair program and collaboration with Mastercard Canada.

Eligibility: PhD applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Master’s applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Applicants in Canada are strongly preferred.
