Fully Funded PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Breast Cancer Digital Pathology CHU de Québec Research Center in Canada

Fully funded PhD opportunity in Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Digital Pathology, Medical Radiology, and Medical Bioinformatics at the CHU de Québec Research Center in collaboration with Université Laval, Quebec City, Canada.

The project focuses on developing advanced AI models to analyze medical radiology images, whole-slide imaging (WSI), and clinical data to improve prediction of clinical outcomes in breast cancer and identify new biomarkers. Research themes include multimodal data integration, deep learning, model interpretability, and applications of AI in precision medicine.

Applicants should hold a Master's degree in Medical Physics, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A strong academic record is required, along with experience in machine learning and image analysis. Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow is expected. Experience with radiology data, WSI digital slides, and HPC is considered an advantage.

The position is based at the CHU de Québec Research Center in Quebec City, Canada, and the start date is as soon as possible. Funding is described as fully funded, but no stipend or tuition details are provided in the post.
