Fully funded PhD opportunity at Mahidol University, Nakhon Sawan Campus, Thailand, in Sensor Intelligence and Theoretical Physics. The position is hosted by the Center for Theoretical Physics & Natural Philosophy and is supervised by Vishal Chaudhary, Lecturer at Mahidol University.

This is a strong fit for students with training in physics and related quantitative fields. A Bachelor’s degree in Physics is highly preferred because the student will take graduate-level coursework in theoretical physics. A Master’s degree in Physics or a closely related field is also listed as an essential qualification. Minimum GPA requirements are 3.25 for Bachelor’s-entry applicants and 3.50 for Master’s-entry applicants.

Funding is substantial and includes nomination for the Mahidol University Scholarship for Ph.D. Students. The package mentions THB 300,000 per year for 3 years for Master’s-entry candidates or 4 years for Bachelor’s-entry candidates, full tuition coverage of around THB 240,000 over 6 semesters for Master’s-entry candidates (up to 8 semesters for Bachelor’s-entry candidates), thesis and related fees of around THB 300,000, and a monthly living allowance of approximately THB 7,000–9,000.
