About this position

Funded 42-month PhD position in Climate Modelling of Mediterranean Heat Extremes at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (SUNRISE project).

The project investigates the local and remote drivers of climate variability and heat extremes over the greater Mediterranean region, including the dynamical links between the West African Monsoon and Mediterranean heat extremes using targeted sensitivity experiments with state-of-the-art climate models.
