About this position

Cancer Research Malaysia is hiring a Head of Community Outreach to lead community-based patient navigation under the National Patient Navigation Programme (NORA).

This is a leadership role focused on improving access to early detection and timely cancer care for underserved populations across Malaysia. The position combines public health, medical science, implementation science, monitoring and evaluation, health systems, and community outreach, with strong emphasis on data-driven programme design, scale-up, and evidence generation.

The successful candidate will design and refine navigation models, oversee implementation across multiple sites, strengthen digital integration, manage stakeholder partnerships with the Ministry of Health, hospitals, community organisations, and donors, and lead research outputs including publications, policy briefs, and dissemination materials.

Eligibility highlights include a postgraduate qualification (MPH, MSc, or PhD) in public health, behavioural science, implementation science, or a related field; 7–10 years of relevant experience; and a strong track record in programme implementation, evaluation, analysis, and publications. Experience working with government and healthcare stakeholders in Malaysia is required, along with strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

This is a job opening, not a scholarship or studentship. The post states that it is open to Malaysian citizens only. No deadline, salary, or stipend is listed in the post.

Apply via the BrioHR job link provided in the post.
