About this position
The University of Luxembourg is inviting applications for the IAS Young Academics Doctoral Fellow: Interdisciplinary Research within its Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS). This fellowship is part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions COFUND initiative and supports a 48-month career development programme for 15 full-time international doctoral candidates.
The YADIAS programme is designed to foster bottom-up, interdisciplinary, intersectoral, and international research across all disciplines represented at the University of Luxembourg. Fellows are free to choose their own research topic within the university’s disciplines and to identify their principal and co-supervisors. The programme is intended for motivated doctoral researchers who want to build strong disciplinary expertise while developing the ability to work across fields and sectors on complex global challenges.
Hosted by the IAS, the programme aims to strengthen research excellence, interdisciplinarity, employability, and career development. Successful fellows will work in an outstanding research environment and benefit from strong links to professional sectors, the Luxembourg labour market, European institutions, companies, ministries, NGOs, and other non-academic partners.
