Climate change is driving pests like the Mediterranean fruit fly (medfly) into new environments, threatening agriculture and food security.
We’re looking for a PhD student to join us at University of East Anglia to pioneer groundbreaking gene-editing strategies in collaboration with Keele University and Imperial College London .
Join our project to:
?? Develop CRISPR/Cas9 genetic sex conversion to control pest populations.
?? Study fertility & behavior in gene-edited males vs. non-edited males.
