Immediate openings are available for two Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions in the area of Hydrogen Safety Modelling at the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. These positions are part of ongoing research projects sponsored by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), focusing on hydrogen safety, particularly leakage and combustion behaviour. The research is led by Assistant Professor Anubhav Sinha, whose interests include hydrogen safety, combustion, and energy systems.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or allied branches and must have a valid GATE score. A strong interest in hydrogen safety, combustion, and energy systems is essential. Candidates with experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools, especially ANSYS Fluent and/or OpenFOAM, and a background in fluid mechanics, combustion, or related areas will be preferred.
