About this position

Master 2 internship opportunity in the Pharmacy department of UFR3S at the University of Lille, France.

The project focuses on accelerated virtual screening of the GPR35 receptor for inflammatory bowel disease, with an emphasis on identifying new selective GPR35 agonists, ideally biased toward the anti-inflammatory β-arrestin-2 pathway.

The intern will work with Corentin Bedart in the In silico Lille research group (Inserm Unit U1286 INFINITE).

Planned work includes: developing a complete deep docking protocol; establishing a hit selection procedure and implementing binding free energy calculations with OpenFE; and, depending on progress and interests, running molecular dynamics simulations to assess the stability of the best complexes.

This is a 6-month M2 internship starting in January/February 2027. Applications are accepted until 2026-11-15.

To apply, send a CV, cover letter, and a few lines describing your interest in the project to [email protected] with the subject line M2 internship GPR35.
