About this position
FEUP (Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto) is advertising 1 research grant within the SAVERACK Project (Sustainable, advanced and economical retrofitting strategies for reducing the seismic vulnerability and risk of steel storage pallet racks), funded by the European Commission through the Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS) under Horizon Europe.

What's required
Applicants must be enrolled in a doctoral program in Civil Engineering, or hold an academic degree and be enrolled in a non-academic degree course integrated in the educational project of a higher education institution in association/cooperation with R&D units. They must also hold a master’s degree in civil engineering or a related field. If the degree was awarded by a foreign institution, it must comply with Portuguese legal recognition requirements by the time of contract signing. Preference is given to candidates with experience in modelling and analysis of steel structures made of cold-formed sections, seismic analysis and design of steel structures, and research experience in the project area or related areas.
