MSc, PhD, and Postdoctoral Positions in High-Speed Aerodynamics, Combustion, and Shock-Tube Experiments at University of Calgary University of Calgary in United Kingdom

We are recruiting MSc, PhD, and Postdoctoral researchers to join an industry-supported project in collaboration with the High Speed Aerodynamics and Energy Laboratory at the University of Calgary.

The research focuses on shock-tube experiments, flame quenching, detonation-arrestor technologies, combustion diagnostics, and high-speed measurements. This is a strong fit for students and researchers interested in experimental combustion, high-speed flow phenomena, and applied energy research at the interface of academia and industry.

Openings include MSc/PhD students who will conduct shock-tube experiments, diagnostics, measurements, and data analysis, as well as an experimental postdoctoral fellow with prior hands-on shock-tube experience to lead experiments and advanced diagnostics.

The project is supported by industry collaborators and provides access to state-of-the-art experimental facilities, advanced computational resources, and a collaborative research environment. No specific stipend, tuition, or deadline information is given in the post.
