PhD and postdoctoral positions are available in the Quantum Simulation Theory group led by Daniel González Cuadra at the Institute for Theoretical Physics (IFT) in Madrid, Spain. The group is based at IFT, a research center jointly operated by the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

The opening is tied to the funded QuantERA project “Digital methods in analog quantum simulation”. The project is a theory-experiment collaboration with Alexander Schuckert, Monika Aidelsburger, Andreas Elben, and Philipp Preiss. The research focus is on developing advanced quantum simulation protocols to investigate quantum many-body systems using neutral atoms.
