The research focuses on automated market interactions, learning agents, and the design of new algorithms for computing equilibria in game-theoretic settings. The positions are full-time, initially for two years, with the possibility of extension. Doctoral candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics, while postdoctoral applicants require a Ph.D. in these fields, ideally with expertise in Optimization, Game Theory, or Machine Learning. Applicants should have an excellent academic record, strong motivation, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. English proficiency is required; German is not necessary. The work environment is dynamic and international, located at the TUM Garching campus. The salary follows the TV-L E13 scale, and funding is available for travel and conferences. Application materials include a motivation letter, CV, research statement, and 2–3 reference letters. The review of applications starts October 30, 2025, and continues until the positions are filled. TUM encourages applications from women and individuals who add diversity to the university. For more information, visit the group’s website or contact [email protected].
