This is a salaried PhD position, normally for three years of research only or four years including other career-promoting work. The salary is stated as NOK 532,200 gross per year (state salary scale code 1017), with pension contributions and standard Norwegian employee benefits.
Eligibility highlights include a relevant five-year master’s degree (or equivalent), a master’s thesis grade and weighted average of at least B, and good Norwegian or another Scandinavian language for data collection and interview work. Experience in social work, child welfare, and qualitative methods is considered an advantage. Applicants finishing their master’s degree in spring 2026 may also apply.
