Up to three (3) positions are available. The programme is research-intensive and spans areas including molecular biology, nutrition, drug discovery, microbiome research, and environmental science. It also highlights interdisciplinary collaboration, access to advanced lab technologies such as NGS and mass spectrometry, and industry partnerships.

Available projects include: a culturally adapted Greek-language allergen application for the Cypriot and Greek population; MTHFD2 as a metabolic checkpoint in human CD8+ T cell immunity; and gut microbiota and cortical excitability exploring the gut-brain axis in humans in collaboration with the Cyprus University of Technology.
