This funded doctoral project focuses on artificial intelligence, computer science, mathematics, data science, and mathematical modelling. Supervision: Principal supervisor Professor Qiufeng Wang (XJTLU), with co-supervisors Dr. Xiaobo Jin (XJTLU) and Dr. Meng Fang (University of Liverpool).
Funding: The studentship lasts three years, covers tuition fees, provides a monthly stipend of RMB 5,000, and includes up to RMB 16,500 for international conference participation. Teaching assistance of 300–500 hours per year is required. Research is mainly conducted at XJTLU in Suzhou, with possible short-term visits to the University of Liverpool.
Eligibility: Applicants should hold a Master’s degree with Merit and a Bachelor’s degree with first-class or upper second-class honors. Strong spoken and written English is required; IELTS 6.5 or equivalent is expected for non-native English speakers.
