This PhD position focuses on cancer immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, and biomedical research. The successful candidate will conduct wet-lab research using mouse models and/or cancer patient samples, develop and apply patient-derived 3D models and immune co-cultures, study cellular interactions via extracellular vesicles, and analyze high-throughput datasets using R or similar tools. The role also includes presenting findings, maintaining reproducible lab records, contributing to reports, grant applications, and publications, and participating in lab and institutional activities as part of the doctoral training program.

Eligibility highlights: a Master’s degree in immunology, molecular/cell biology, biomedicine, or a related field; strong knowledge of adaptive immunity, B cell development, antibody structure, and immune responses in cancer; practical experience with cell culture, PCR, western blotting, functional assays, and flow cytometry; and an interest in extracellular vesicle biology and CRISPR-related mechanisms. Experience with R, Python, or omics analysis is advantageous. Applicants must show at least B2-level proficiency in the language of their thesis.

Funding: fixed-term full-time doctoral contract for 36 months with a stated yearly gross salary of EUR 43,445.
