About this position
PhD opportunity in Translational AI for Longitudinal Health Data at Mines Paris – PSL in collaboration with the Institut Curie in Paris, France.
The project is hosted at the Centre for Computational Biology (CBIO), a joint laboratory working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, statistics, computational biology, and medicine. The research aims to develop advanced methods for large-scale longitudinal health data to support patient classification, health risk assessment, disease progression analysis, clinical decision support, and practical AI applications in healthcare.
Ideal applicants should have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computational Biology, Medical Data Science, or a related field. Strong interest in ML and statistics, Python skills, teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment, and fluent English are expected. Experience with deep learning, electronic health records, longitudinal health data, or biomedical research is welcome but not mandatory.
