PhD Opportunities in Chemical and Environmental Sciences at the University of Insubria

Two fully funded PhD positions are being offered within the PhD Programme in Chemical and Environmental Sciences at the University of Insubria, with a planned start in November 2026 and a 3-year duration. These opportunities are especially suitable for candidates with training in organic chemistry or medicinal chemistry, and for applicants with strong practical experience in synthetic organic chemistry laboratories.

Position 1 is co-funded by Choose Life Biotech (Bellinzona, Switzerland) and focuses on the synthesis and biological characterization of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and nanobody-drug conjugates (NDCs).

Position 2 is co-funded by Italfarmaco (Cinisello Balsamo, Italy) and focuses on the development of PROTAC-based therapeutic strategies.
