PhD opportunity in Neuroengineering, Artificial Intelligence, Explainable AI, Epilepsy, Magnetoencephalography (MEG), Brain Networks at the Laboratory for Clinical Neuroscience, Center for Biomedical Technology (CTB), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

The selected candidate will join the newly funded national project PERFECTMed and apply for a competitive UPM Predoctoral Fellowship 2026. The research focuses on developing AI and explainable AI methods for the analysis of cMEG, opMEG, and sEEG datasets to discover personalized biomarkers for precision medicine in drug-resistant epilepsy. The work sits at the intersection of Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Mathematics, Telecommunications Engineering, Neuroscience, and related quantitative fields.
