About this position
Valerie Gabelica’s group at the University of Geneva is recruiting for the ERC Advanced Grant CHIRAMASS: Coupling Ion Mobility-Mass Spectrometry and Ion Spectroscopy for Chirality Measurements.
This opportunity is for a PhD candidate or postdoctoral researcher interested in developing new instrumentation and methodologies at the intersection of ion mobility spectrometry, mass spectrometry, laser spectroscopy, and molecular chirality. The project aims to create entirely new analytical capabilities for probing the structure and handedness of molecular ions.
Applicants with backgrounds in physics, chemistry, engineering, instrumentation, spectroscopy, or mass spectrometry are encouraged to apply.
Start date is from January 2027. The first review of applications is 15 November 2026.
Full details and application instructions are available on Euraxess. Please follow the application instructions carefully.
