PhD Position at the Centre for Language Studies Radboud University in Netherlands

Radboud University is offering a PhD position at the Centre for Language Studies (CLS) within the Faculty of Arts in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. The post is focused on research into language systems, language processing, and language use, with an emphasis on the cognitive and social processes that underlie these topics. The successful candidate will join the Graduate School for the Humanities and develop a PhD thesis aligned with one of the CLS research questions.

The role is designed as a doctoral research appointment with a significant research focus: 75% of the time is devoted to writing the PhD thesis, while 25% is reserved for training and academic service to the Faculty of Arts, including teaching. The position is embedded in a strong interdisciplinary language research environment, and the university indicates that the thesis must fit within the Centre for Language Studies’ core thematic areas.
