The School of Chemical Engineering at Yeungnam University, Republic of Korea, is seeking applications for a fully funded PhD position under the supervision of Prof. Seong-Cheol Kim. The research focuses on computational chemistry, specifically DFT calculation, molecular docking, and molecular dynamics, with applications in advanced material and nanomaterial synthesis, characterization, and material science. The position offers a monthly stipend of approximately 1.1 million KRW, with tuition fee waiver available for candidates who meet the required language proficiency in either Korean (TOPIK Level 6) or English (TOEFL iBT 100, IELTS 7, or TOEIC 900 or above). The program is set to begin on September 1, 2026, and will last for a minimum of four years. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Korea.
