University of Oldenburg is advertising a 4-year PhD / Research Assistant position in Cryptography and Trustworthy AI within the research group Secure and Trustworthy Infrastructure and the AI Incubator Connected Health Nordwest.

The project sits at the intersection of applied cryptography, privacy-enhancing technologies (including homomorphic encryption, secure multi-party computation, and differential privacy), and machine learning. The research focus is on building secure, trustworthy, and privacy-preserving AI infrastructure for healthcare, including secure data processing and communication between hospitals, healthcare providers, and home-care environments.
