What's required
Applicants must hold an excellent Master’s or Diploma degree in medical physics, physics, computer science, medical engineering, or a closely related field. Strong interest in data science and quantitative medical imaging is required. Proficient programming skills in at least one object-oriented language (e.g., C++, Python) and broad understanding of programming paradigms including object-oriented design, template programming, and multithreaded development are essential. Experience with statistical computing environments such as R or MATLAB is required. Knowledge of Monte Carlo simulation methods using Geant4, medical image reconstruction principles, and high-performance computer simulations in physics is beneficial. Experience with medical imaging data, especially PET, and data science is desirable. Excellent teamwork, communication skills, motivation, self-discipline, and excellent command of spoken and written English are required.
