Applicants should have hands-on mammalian cell culture and standard cell biology experience, experience under S2 conditions, strong documentation and organizational skills, and a strong interest in regenerative medicine. Willingness to work with laboratory animals and complete animal experimentation training is required. Desirable skills include rat/mouse handling, CNS injury models, co-culture or organoid models, and bioinformatics.

Funding: this is a paid PhD position with a gross annual remuneration of EUR 39,343.36 for 30 hours/week.

Application deadline: 31 August 2026. Applicants should send a short CV, a motivation letter (max. 1 page), and up to 3 references (name and email address) to the listed PMU contacts.
