Key responsibilities include developing and writing a dissertation in inclusive education, participating in research projects, assisting with grant applications, supervising students (especially in empirical data analysis), and contributing to teaching and examination duties at the institute. The role also involves organizational and administrative tasks, as well as supporting evaluation measures within the department.

Applicants should hold a completed diploma or master's degree in pedagogy, psychology, or a closely related discipline. Essential qualifications include excellent German and English language skills, a strong interest in empirical research design and organization, and a focus on inclusive education or educational psychology—particularly cognitive and social-emotional development. Candidates must demonstrate above-average knowledge of empirical social research methods, proficiency with data analysis software (such as SPSS), and strong skills in computer-based literature research. Teamwork, organizational ability, and enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents are highly valued. Experience with academic publications and teaching is desirable but not mandatory.
