About this position

The University of Alberta's Mining Optimization Laboratory (MOL) is offering four fully funded PhD positions starting September 2026. Proficiency in English is required, demonstrated by high TOEFL or IELTS scores. A reasonable publication track record is an asset for PhD applicants. Additional advantages include proficiency in computer programming and databases, experience in mathematical programming, and experience with discrete-event simulation.
