Oklahoma State University is advertising a Ph.D. Research Assistant opportunity through the Great Plains Center of Excellence (GPCoE) and the Industrial Training and Assessment Center (ITAC).

The project focuses on industrial energy efficiency, smart manufacturing, AI-enabled energy assessment, remote and hybrid assessment methods, energy productivity, energy security, emerging energy technologies, technology commercialization, and energy workforce development.

Suitable applicants should have a strong background in engineering, energy systems, manufacturing, materials, data science, mechatronics, robotics, or related fields. The post especially values prior DOE ITAC/IAC experience, industrial or consulting experience, publications, technical reports, patent-related work, strong analytical skills, team leadership, and excellent communication skills.

The selected student will be admitted to a suitable graduate program within the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) at Oklahoma State University, with possible home programs including Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or Industrial Engineering and Management, depending on background and research fit.
