What's required

Applicants must have a master’s degree or equivalent in synthetic medicinal chemistry or synthetic organic chemistry, with a foreign degree corresponding to at least four years in the Norwegian system. Required are documented solid experience in synthetic organic chemistry, chromatography, spectroscopy, and analysis of low-molecular organic compounds, plus fluent oral and written English. Desired qualifications include relevant experience in lipid chemistry and medicinal-chemistry-oriented computational tools. Candidates must also meet HARPNET eligibility rules, including no prior doctorate and no residence or main activity in the recruiting country/institution for more than 12 months in the 3 years before recruitment, and must satisfy University of Oslo PhD admission grade requirements.
