What's required
Relevant Master's degree in Marine Cybernetics, Control Engineering/Robotics, Marine operations, Underwater technology, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Risk/Reliability or Computer Science, or equivalent education; the degree must include a major independent project of at least 30 ECTS equivalent to a master's thesis. Master students may apply only if the master's degree is completed and documented before starting and no later than 2026-11-01. Applicants must have a strong academic background with an average grade of B or better on NTNU's scale, or an equally strong foundation if grades are not letter-based. Non-native English speakers without Scandinavian language proficiency must document English proficiency equivalent to TOEFL 600 or more.
