Loughborough University is offering fully funded PhD scholarships for exceptional scholars facing conflict, persecution, or displacement. This is a unique opportunity to study in a safe and supportive academic environment.

SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE:

- Full tuition fee waiver

- Annual living stipend (£19,237, subject to review)

- Research support grant

- Accommodation and transport support

- Access to university services


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

- Must hold an offer for a PhD at Loughborough University

- Must be an at-risk scholar from a conflict or crisis-affected region

- Must fall under any of the following statuses:

- Asylum seeker

- Refugee

- Humanitarian/Discretionary Leave to Remain

- Indefinite Leave to Remain

- Ukraine or Afghan schemes

- British National Overseas (BNO)

- Other recognized sanctuary statuses


International applicants outside the UK are welcome


Deadlines:

1. March 25, 2025 - For July 2025 start


2. June 23, 2025 - For October 2025 or January 2026 start
