About this position
Postdoctoral position in Molecular Immunology at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB) in Bellinzona, Switzerland.
The project, led by Dr. Silvia Monticelli, investigates how RNA-binding proteins and post-transcriptional regulatory mechanisms shape human T cell function. The work combines mechanistic molecular biology with functional studies in primary human T cells, with opportunities to help shape the direction of the project.
Ideal background: a recently completed or nearly completed PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field; strong molecular/cell biology and/or immunology experience; and an advantage for candidates with RNA biology, CRISPR-based approaches, or functional genomics experience. Strong English skills are required.
Funding and conditions: SNSF-aligned salary and conditions, with an initial one-year contract that is renewable.
