Post-doctoral opportunity in human perception of AI consciousness with Leon Deouell, Liad Mudrik, and Anat Perry-Sharon at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv University. The project sits at the intersection of psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, and computer science, with a focus on how humans perceive consciousness in AI systems.

The position is funded for two years with a possibility of extension. The start date is flexible for Summer/Fall 2026, and the location is flexible across the two universities. The post is especially relevant for candidates with experience in human-subject experiments, EEG, eye-tracking, AI-related research, and advanced data analysis.

Applicants should hold a PhD in psychology, neuroscience, computer science, or a related field. Strong English communication skills, methodological and statistical expertise, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are required. Python and/or Matlab experience is listed as an advantage.
