Post-doctoral opportunity in human perception of AI consciousness with Leon Deouell , Liad Mudrik , and Anat Perry-Sharon at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv University . The project sits at the intersection of psychology , neuroscience , cognitive science , and computer science , with a focus on how humans perceive consciousness in AI systems. The position is funded for two years with a possibility of extension. The start date is flexible for Summer/Fall 2026 , and the location is flexible across the two universities. The post is especially relevant for candidates with experience in human-subject experiments , EEG , eye-tracking , AI-related research, and advanced data analysis. Applicants should hold a PhD in psychology, neuroscience, computer science, or a related field. Strong English communication skills, methodological and statistical expertise, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are required. Python and/or Matlab experience is listed as an advantage.
