About this position
Professor Sebastian Kmiecik’s Lab of Computational Biology at the University of Warsaw has received OPUS NCN funding for a 3-year project on RNA structure simulations and structural ensemble modeling.
The project aims to develop a new fast simulation model for RNA structures, RNA–protein complexes, and conformational ensembles, combining efficient simulations with detailed structural interpretation, AI-assisted analysis, and integration with experimental data.
The group plans to recruit postdoctoral researchers and PhD students. Recruitment details are not yet published, but the expected start is currently planned for November–December 2026.
Interested candidates are encouraged to sign up for recruitment updates via the linked Google Form so they can receive the full announcement once it becomes available.
Relevant study areas: computational biology, molecular modeling, molecular dynamics, bioinformatics, structural biology, physics, chemistry, computer science, and related fields.
Funding details
Full funding including tuition fees and living expenses is available for this position. The scholarship covers all educational costs and provides a monthly stipend.
