University of Graz, Austria is advertising a Postdoc / University Assistant with doctorate in the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Natural Sciences. The position is centered on Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Computational Biology, and Bioinformatics, with strong links to proteomics, genomics, large-scale screening, protein interactions, molecular networks, pharmacogenomics, and machine learning.

The successful candidate will join the Network Pharmacology research team headed by Ulrich Stelzl and work within the FWF-funded Cluster of Excellence MetAGE. The project focuses on post-translational modification and genetic variation to better understand molecular processes in cancer and aging, using multi-omics data and both experimental and computational methods.

This is a 40-hour/week postdoctoral employment contract for 1.5 years. The announcement explicitly seeks a candidate with a doctorate and relevant expertise in biochemistry, molecular biology, computational biology/bioinformatics, and related omics/data-analysis methods. Experience with laboratory and/or patient data integration is highlighted as part of the work.
