Open postdoctoral position in Epigenetic Networks in Aging and Cancer within the project Transform-Me, supported by the Else Kröner-Fresenius Stiftung, at Universitätsklinikum Aachen AöR / RWTH Aachen context.

The project investigates how epigenetic changes, especially DNA methylation, are coordinated across the genome and how these changes form coherent trans-regulatory networks. The research aims to identify modules and hubs that are co-regulated in aging, development, and particularly malignant transformation, and to explore modulation of these networks through epigenetic editing.

The position is aimed at a bioinformatician with a strong background in epigenetic characterization of cell preparations, with a focus on DNA methylation. The work involves integration of own and public EPIC Illumina BeadChip datasets together with RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, nanopore, and single-cell DNA methylation sequencing datasets.
