Postdoc in Indoor Soundscape and Building Auralization at University of Trento University of Trento in

Pre-announcement of an upcoming postdoc position at the University of Trento (DICAM) in the area of indoor soundscape, building auralization, and soundscape evaluation.

The researcher will contribute to the implementation of soundscape methodologies in the early stages of building design, with a focus on integrating acoustic and environmental quality considerations into design workflows. Strong expertise in building auralization and soundscape evaluation is requested, including both laboratory and field studies; experience with VR is ideally welcomed.

The position is funded through the Horizon Europe WEAVE project (GA 101326291), coordinated by Eurac Research / Institute for Renewable Energy. The project aims to develop integrated planning methods for climate-responsive design and innovative building envelope solutions, and this postdoc will contribute to the soundscape component within an international consortium.
