Postdoc opportunity at Radboud University Medical Center (Radboudumc), Nijmegen, Netherlands. The DYING-WELL Vidi project is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to help develop an innovative theory of what “dying well” means in today’s society.

The role combines theoretical research with qualitative phenomenological research and discourse analysis. The postdoc will investigate how ideas about the end of life emerge, change, and influence policy, care, and everyday practice. The position also includes an important collaborative component: supervising a PhD candidate and contributing to the further development of the project across disciplines and perspectives.

Research themes: palliative care, end of life, philosophy, qualitative methods, phenomenology, discourse analysis, social and ethical issues in healthcare.
