Postdoc in Systems Security: AI and Security/Privacy KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden

The Secure Systems Group (SSG) at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in systems security, with a focus on the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI), security, and privacy. This two-year, full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with Professors N. Asokan and Panagiotis Papadimitratos, contributing to cutting-edge research in trustworthy systems, platform security, and the interplay between machine learning and security/privacy.

SSG is renowned for designing, building, and analyzing secure systems, addressing both offensive and defensive security challenges. The group’s research agenda spans platform security, applications, and the integration of AI with security and privacy. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will lead your own research projects, collaborate with a dynamic team, and gain valuable experience in student supervision and mentoring. Applicants must possess a doctoral degree (or equivalent foreign degree) by the time of employment. Proficiency in English, strong motivation, independence, and teamwork skills are required. Preferred qualifications include a recent doctoral degree (within the last three years), teaching and supervision experience, industry research experience, prior work in hardware-assisted software protection, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity and gender equality.
