About this position

The project combines cell biology, genome editing, and quantitative physiological studies in laboratory bioreactors, offering a strong interface between fundamental biology and applied industrial biotechnology.
Eligibility highlights: applicants should have a completed PhD in a relevant field such as molecular biology, metabolic engineering, synthetic biology, or cell biology; practical experience in molecular biology, genetics, and/or genome engineering; creativity and independence in experimental research; motivation for industrially relevant research; and excellent English communication skills.
Funding and conditions: the position is a 3-year temporary postdoc contract, 38-40 hours per week, with salary and benefits under the Dutch Universities collective agreement.
