The Young Investigator Group Magnons: X-rays and Models is seeking a Postdoc (f/m/d) to perform X-ray spectroscopy measurements at state-of-the-art large-scale facilities, carry out quantitative data analysis using Python, and run preliminary calculations to interpret the results. The role is interdisciplinary and involves collaboration with several research groups in Germany and abroad.
Eligibility highlights: completed PhD in physics, materials science, or a similar field; excellent knowledge of X-ray spectroscopy techniques (time-resolved experience is especially valued); good programming skills; familiarity with Quanty and Quantum Espresso is highly valued; strong teamwork and communication skills; very good English (C1); experience presenting scientific results and a strong publication record.
